Testing and Certification

Testers:

We have selected our testers from among former and present SAR dog handlers who have had experience with certification testing, SAR dogs, and SAR strategy. We also include representatives of user agencies for initial testing of dog/handler teams. One of our objectives is to make sure that evaluators come from outside of our own small county SAR dog groups.

Standards:

We have selected our standards from some of the best we have found in our region. Our intent is to meet or exceed canine standards currently in use. Please contact us if you would like specifics on certification requirements or prerequisites to testing.
