In the Continental Divide Trail Society's latest Dividends newsletter, Jim accidently left out the last part of the link to the Montana maps. Please go to: http://people.montana.com/~jbraun/CDT/maps.
Included are two updates I worked on with Jim Wolf for his trail guide. These include field observations added to the Gates Park route and a reroute on the last 3 miles to Homestake Pass.

Colorado Continental Divide Segment Hikes
Ed, Jeff, and Bill Braun
In the early 1980's, we hiked the Continental Divide through Colorado.
When we started the trips, there was no official Continental Divide Trail
through the state. Over half of the trails and roads we followed did become
part of the official CDT. These journals mostly detail the route we took
from Wyoming to New Mexico and provide some alternatives to the official
CDT. Naturally, there are also a few stories about our encounters
and difficulties on the trail.
1980 - Northern Colorado
Wyoming to Muddy Pass
Muddy Pass to Estes Park
Estes Park to I-70
1981 - Central Colorado
Arapahoe Basin to Independence Pass
Independence Pass to North Pass
1982 - Southern Colorado
Cochetopa Pass to Spring Creek Pass
Spring Creek Pass to Wolf Creek Pass
